The monotypic fossil genus Incertisporite was instituted by Hammen (1954) from the Maastrichtian (72–66 mya) sediments of the Magdalena Valley, Eastern Cordillera, Colombia, South America. Incertisporite includes fungal spores of indefinite type.
Type species: Incertisporites polygranulatus Hammen 1954.
