Notes: Vanbeverwijkia was established by Agnihothrudu (1961), with V. spirospora as the type species based on morphological data. Vanbeverwijkia spirospora, was found on decaying wood in a terrestrial habitat in Assam (Agnihothrudu 1961). Vanbeverwijkia shares similar asexual morph characteristics with Berkleasmium in producing short, rarely forked, septate conidiophores, and multiseptate and helicoid conidia (Agnihothrudu 1961). However, Vanbeverwijkia differs from Berkleasmium in producing hyaline conidiophores and conidia (Agnihothrudu 1961; Lu et al. 2017c).
Type species: Vanbeverwijkia spirospora Agnihothr., Transactions of the British Mycological Society 44 (1): 53 (1961).
Other accepted species: Species Fungorum – search Vanbeverwijkia.
