Citation when using this data: Hongsanan S et al. 2020 – Fungalpedia, Ascomycota.
Index Fungorum, Facesoffungi, MycoBank, GenBank
Classification: Phaeothecoidiellaceae, Mycosphaerellales, Dothideomycetes, Pezizomycotina, Ascomycota, Fungi
The genus was established with a single species T. thailandicum. Translucidithyrium is similar to Myriangiaceae and Schizothyriaceae, but differs in lacking a network-like structure surrounding locules (Zeng et al. 2018b). In the phylogenetic analysis Translucidithyrium clustered with other genera in Phaeothecoidiellaceae, but as a distinct genus.
Type species: Translucidithyrium thailandicum X.Y. Zeng & K.D. Hyde, in Zeng et al., Mycol. Progr. 17(9): 1090 (2018).
Other accepted species: Species Fungorum – search Translucidithyrium.
