Notes: Pseudostanjehughesia was introduced by Yang et al. (2018) with a single freshwater species, Pseudostanjehughesia aquitropica. Luo et al. (2019) introduced the second species to this genus, and both were collected from freshwater habitats. Currently, Pseudostanjehughesia is placed in genera incertae sedis within Diaporthomycetidae. Our phylogenetic analysis showed that Pseudostanjehughesia formed a distinct clade, sister to Acrodictyaceae and the clade of Proliferophorum thailandicum and Platytrachelon abietis within Diaporthomycetidae, with a stem age of 111 MYA. Both phylogeny and divergence time are support this genus can be a new family.
