Notes: Kirschsteiniotheliales contains a family Kirschsteiniotheliaceae and three species in Astrosphaeriella, Brachysporiella, and Solicorynespora, respectively (Hernández-Restrepo et al. 2017). Phylogenetic and molecular clock analyses confirmed its ordinal ranking, but the systematic placement is unstable in Dothideomycetes (Hernández-Restrepo et al. 2017; Hongsanan et al. 2020b).

Type family: Kirschsteiniotheliaceae Boonmee & K.D. Hyde.

Other accepted species: Species Fungorum – search Kirschsteiniotheliales.
