Notes – Fusculina was introduced by Summerell et al. (2006), with the type species F. eucalypti. Two species have been reported with asexual morphs (Summerell et al. 2006, Crous et al. 2018a). Phylogenetic studies indicated that Fusculina clusters with the type species of Gordonomyces in Pleosporales (Crous et al. 2018a)Crous et al. (2018a) introduced the new family to accomodate these two genera.

Type species: Fusculina eucalypti Crous & Summerell, Fungal Divers. 23: 334 (2006).

Other accepted species: Species Fungorum – search Fusculina.
