Colletotrichum is an important genus including a large number of species which are plant pathogens, endophytes and saprobes (Jayawardena et al. 2021). Jayawardena et al (2021) accepted 248 species distributed in 14 species complexes. In the present study, four species belonging to the Colletotrichum gloeosporioides complex were identified and are described 

Type species: Colletotrichum lineola Corda, in Sturm, Deutschl. Fl., 3 Abt. (Pilze Deutschl.)(12): 41 (1831).

Other accepted species: Species Fungorum – search Colletotrichum.
