Classification: Ostropales genera incertae sedis, Ostropomycetidae, Lecanoromycetes, Pezizomycotina, Ascomycota, Fungi

Biazrovia was introduced by Zhurbenko et al. (2013a) to accommodate the type species B. stereocaulicola, which grows on Stereocaulon species. This genus is characterized by its lichenicolous habit, orange-brown apothecia that become urceolate, a cupulate, non-hairy exciple, a hyaline hymenium that is I- and KI-, filiform paraphyses with apical swelling, 8-spored asci with an apically thickened wall lacking a distinct ocular chamber, and hyaline, trans-septate, smooth-walled ascospores that are non-halonate (Zhurbenko et al. 2013a). Due to the absence of sequence data, Biazrovia has been tentatively placed within Ostropales as genera incertae sedis (Hyde et al. 2024).

Type species: Biazrovia stereocaulicola Zhurb. & Etayo, on Stereocaulon glareosum (Zhurbenko et al. 2013a)

Other accepted species: Species Fungorum – search Biazrovia.
