Notes: Argynna comprises a single species, Argynna polyhedron (Morgan 1895). The genus is characterized by solitary, superficial apothecia and 1-septate papilionaceous, light brown, smooth-walled ascospores with a dark band at the septum. Argynna polyhedron is a rare species and lacks molecular data to allow its taxonomic placement.
